In the last two years, I have lost two friends to suicide. This song really speaks to my spirit.

The first time I heard this song at my homeboys house about to smoke a blunt I had to go to myself for a moment. I was born with, Sickle Cell Anemia and waiting to get the bone marrow transplant. Some days I go through alot. It’s very depressing and painful. sometimes, I be wanting to just give up but it’s always something that says don’t you give up keep going and push forward. I’m not a lost cause but sometimes I wonder how would my life be without this disease. It has really humbled me as a person I’m 24 and still have my whole life ahead of me. I don’t wanna complain because someone is going through it worse than me. All I have to said is lord thank you for my life, health and strength that I do have. Help me not to ask why and just accept whatever comes my way. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏❤️

Was luck and had some other friends who helped me get through that. Unfortunately one of those friends was just killed last month and I'm reeling from that. Just numb and in shock. Kinda dreading when it really finally hits me she's gone. I'm so not ok but I'm trying to be.
